About Anilú
If you are ready to see Maverick County move forward with vision, accountability, and strong leadership, you have found your candidate for Precinct 4. With Commissioner Roberto Ruiz retiring, a new opportunity has opened for a dedicated public servant to continue building on the progress our community deserves.
I am proud to be a 1996 graduate of Eagle Pass High School and an Honors graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. I later returned home to serve as an educator at EPHS and CC Winn High School. Today, I am a business owner, volunteer, and community advocate who believes in service with compassion, integrity, and strength.
From serving in the Rotary Club, to volunteering in PTO programs at my daughters’ schools, to serving as a Director on the Eagle Pass Board of Realtors, my longstanding record of service reflects my commitment to our community. It is this same dedication I will bring to Commissioners Court.
Service runs deep in my family. My husband, Norman Gonzalez, is a retired U.S. Border Patrol agent and proud U.S. military Veteran. Together, we are raising two daughters who share our values of community, faith, and civic duty.
As a Realtor, I have helped countless families achieve homeownership, advocated for fair economic opportunity, and now serve statewide as a Trustee for Texas Realtors. Having been raised in a colonia, I know firsthand the challenges our families face, and I am committed to balanced budgeting, transparency, strong emergency services, law-
enforcement support, and smart infrastructure development.
Maverick County has enormous potential. With your support, I will be a strong, steady, and an accessible voice for Precinct 4. Focused on safety, accountability, and opportunity.
I respectfully ask for your vote to serve as your next County Commissioner for Precinct 4. My record speaks for itself. Consistent service, strong leadership, and a heart for Maverick County.
Committed to Our Community.
