Morales-Gonzalez is proud to have earned the endorsement of Commissioner Roberto Ruiz, reflecting trust in her ability to lead and deliver results for Maverick County.
Anilú Morales-Gonzalez is a proud 1996 graduate of Eagle Pass High School and an Honors graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. She returned home to serve her community as an educator at EPHS and CC Winn High School. Today, she is a business owner, volunteer, and community advocate who believes in service grounded in compassion, integrity, and strength.
Her record of service spans years of involvement across Maverick County, from the Rotary Club, to volunteering in PTO programs at her daughters’ schools, to serving as a Director on the Eagle Pass Board of Realtors. This longstanding commitment reflects the dedication she will bring to Commissioners Court.
Service is a cornerstone of her family. Her husband, Norman Gonzalez, is a retired U.S. Border Patrol agent and proud U.S. military veteran. Together, they are raising two daughters with strong values of community, faith, and civic responsibility.
As a Realtor, Anilú has helped countless families achieve homeownership and has been a strong advocate for fair economic opportunity. She currently serves statewide as a Trustee for Texas Realtors. Having been raised in a colonia, she understands firsthand the challenges many families face and is committed to balanced budgeting, transparency, strong emergency services, support for law enforcement, and smart infrastructure development.
Maverick County has enormous potential and Anilú Morales-Gonzalez is ready to be a strong, steady, and accessible voice for Precinct 4, focused on safety, accountability, and opportunity.
